This sculptural work is a poignant commentary on the fragility of social unity and the devastating impact of the war conflicts. The fragmented bricks, painted in blood-like tones, serve as visceral symbols of demolished homes —once-solid foundations of the community and families now broken and torn apart. The rawness of the broken bricks and the sharp contrast of their rugged texture against the sleek black backdrop evoke a sense of loss and violence.

The interwoven ropes add another layer of complexity, symbolizing a desperate attempt to hold the leftover fragments together,. They create tension, both physically and metaphorically,  yet emphasize the strain and fragility of these efforts. The ropes, stretched taut across the surface, seem as though they could snap at any moment, underscoring the precariousness of rebuilding and the vulnerability inherent in restoration.

The red hue of the bricks, reminiscent of blood, adds an emotional weight to the work, suggesting not just physical destruction but also the emotional and human toll—pain, tears, and loss. The piece transcends its physical form, inviting viewers to reflect on the fragility of peace.
